JAKARTA — PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has deployed various measures to anticipate the surge in travellers along the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road ahead of the Lebaran holiday. The company has mobilised fuel truck drivers and modular fuel units to facilitate the distribution of fuel.

These preparations are particularly focused on the Rest Area at KM 57 on the Jakarta-Cikampek toll road, which is known as one of the busiest rest stops during the exodus period.

A readiness inspection was conducted directly by Pertamina Patra Niaga Chief Commissioner Sabar Yudo Suroso, alongside Independent Commissioner Prabunindya Revta Revolusi and Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga Logistics Fleet Arif Yunianto on Monday, 9 March 2026.

Prabunindya stated that the inspection was conducted to ensure the company’s operations were prepared to serve the public during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr periods.

“At the Rest Area fuel station at KM 57, all stocks are secure, so there is no need to worry. All products have been prepared for the public so they can safely reach their destinations,” he said in an official statement on Thursday, 12 March 2026.

Furthermore, the company has also mobilised fuel truck drivers ready to assist motorists if they run out of fuel during their journey on the toll road.

Prabunindya stated that the availability of modular units and fuel tanker trucks is expected to help ease queues whilst ensuring smooth energy distribution during peak travel periods.

“At the busiest points, we have already prepared several alternatives, such as modular fuel stations to break up queues. If there are long queues at a petrol station, we can direct motorists to the modular fuel point to avoid congestion,” he explained.

“We have even prepared fuel tanker trucks in case the public faces difficulties on the road,” Prabunindya added.

The rest area facility serves as a place for tired drivers to rest during their journey, whilst also providing various services such as a children’s play area, haircut services, and manicure and pedicure treatments.

Prabunindya urged motorists to utilise these facilities if they feel fatigued to ensure their journey remains safe and comfortable.

“We have prepared additional facilities such as the MyPertamina Lounge, so people can rest if they feel tired. Everything is free, so the public can travel home for the holidays peacefully and reach their destination safely,” he concluded.
