Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has deployed 200 units of Pertamina Delivery Service motorist vehicles at various strategic points along homecoming routes to further strengthen energy service preparedness during the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr Task Force period in 2026.

Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, stated in Jakarta on Thursday that this service is provided as an emergency aid to assist the public who run out of fuel (BBM) amid traffic congestion or in locations far from petrol stations.

“A total of 200 motorist units are deployed at various strategic points, including toll roads and arterial routes with high density potential or areas with limited access, to ensure that the public’s energy needs are met during their homecoming journeys,” he explained.

In addition, according to Roberth, the fuel price paid by the public remains in line with the official SPBU prices, without any additional delivery fees.

This serves as Pertamina Patra Niaga’s commitment to providing convenience while maintaining the affordability of energy services for the public.

Roberth also conveyed that the presence of this motorist service is part of Pertamina Patra Niaga’s efforts to deliver the best energy services to the public during Eid homecoming and return trips.

“We deploy this service to ensure that the public can continue their journeys safely and comfortably,” he said.

Roberth added that the motorist placements are done strategically on routes prone to congestion to anticipate potential emergency situations during the homecoming period.

“Through this service, we want to ensure that the public does not need to worry when facing fuel shortages during the journey. Our motorist staff are ready to reach the homecomers’ locations directly to provide quick assistance,” stated Roberth.

One homecomer heading to Bandung, West Java, Adi Ahmad, admitted to being helped by the motorist service.

“Having fuel delivery via motorist if stranded on the toll road is really great. To the motorist friends from Pertamina Patra Niaga, keep up the good work because you’ve helped many people, stay spirited even in the heat and rain,” he expressed.

Roberth continued that with various additional services deployed, Pertamina Patra Niaga is committed to continuously providing the best services to support the smooth flow of homecoming and return traffic for Eid al-Fitr 2026.

“During the Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr holiday period, we are preparing all main facilities and services, both for BBM fulfilment and LPG for the public,” he said.
