Pertamina Cuts Jet Fuel Prices by 10%
Pertamina Patra Niaga has reduced jet fuel prices by approximately 10% effective 1 June 2026. Nationally, average jet fuel prices in June 2026 fell around 10% compared to the previous month.
For instance, at Soekarno-Hatta Aviation Fuel Terminal (AFT), the price dropped from Rp24,580 to Rp22,190 per litre. At Ngurah Rai AFT, it fell from Rp26,190 to Rp23,480 per litre, while at Kualanamu AFT, it decreased from Rp25,720 to Rp23,090 per litre.
Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, stated the price adjustment follows the prevailing mechanism and government-set formula. Jet fuel pricing is calculated based on international published prices, with Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS) Kerosene/Jet as the regional market reference.
“When global energy prices decline, the adjustment is reflected in jet fuel prices in accordance with the applicable mechanism,” Roberth said in a written statement on Monday, 1 June 2026.
He added that the lower jet fuel prices are expected to help reduce airline operating costs, positively impacting domestic aviation activities. Additionally, more competitive pricing could support national tourism development, strengthen inter-regional connectivity, and drive economic growth across various regions.
For international flights, Roberth noted that jet fuel prices will continue to follow regional market developments and competition levels. However, Pertamina ensures domestic aviation fuel supply remains a priority in energy management.
Pertamina Patra Niaga currently serves national jet fuel needs through 72 Aviation Fuel Terminals (AFTs) spread across Indonesia, from major to remote airports. The company also guarantees secure and reliable fuel supply to support smooth domestic and international flight operations.
