JAKARTA - PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has reduced aviation fuel prices by approximately 10 per cent from 1 June 2026 across all airports in Indonesia. Following a global oil price decline, Corporate Secretary Roberth MV. Dumatubun said the price reductions vary per airport based on applicable formulas and distribution and logistics factors. However, nationally, the average price has decreased by up to 10 per cent compared to May 2026. For example, at Soekarno-Hatta Airport’s Aviation Fuel Terminal (AFT), the price fell from Rp24,580 to Rp22,190 per litre. At Bali’s Ngurah Rai Airport AFT, it dropped from Rp26,190 to Rp23,480 per litre, and at Kualanamu Airport AFT, from Rp25,720 to Rp23,090 per litre. “The price adjustment is expected to positively impact domestic aviation activities, support national tourism development, enhance regional connectivity, and stimulate local economic growth,” he stated in a written statement on Monday, 1 June 2026. Roberth explained that the price cut aligns with global energy price trends that declined throughout May 2026. As aviation fuel prices are adjusted monthly based on regulations, Pertamina implemented the reduction effective 1 June 2026. Calculations reference international published price averages, with Mean of Platts Singapore (MOPS) Kerosene or Jet as the regional benchmark. “The aviation fuel price adjustment follows formulas set by regulators, namely the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), and considers global energy price developments. When global energy prices fall, adjustments are reflected in aviation fuel prices according to established mechanisms,” he said. The adjustment applies to 72 Aviation Fuel Terminals across Indonesia, including strategic main airports and remote airports. For international flights, aviation fuel prices follow regional market trends and competition to maintain national competitiveness, while prioritising domestic aviation fuel supply. “Pertamina Patra Niaga ensures safe and reliable aviation fuel supply across all Aviation Fuel Terminals to support domestic and international flight operations,” Roberth added. Looking ahead, Pertamina Patra Niaga will monitor global energy markets and coordinate with the government to ensure reliable, competitive, and sustainable aviation energy services to support national air connectivity.
