Jakarta (ANTARA) - The President Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Mars Ega Legowo Putra, stated that cross-agency collaboration is the key to the subsidised fuel programme running optimally and reaching its intended targets.

“Subsidised fuel is a state mandate that must be managed in a targeted, transparent, and accountable manner,” he said in his statement in Jakarta on Thursday.

According to him, Pertamina Patra Niaga is committed to ensuring that the distribution of subsidies is truly received by those who are entitled.

Mars Ega appreciated the synergy that has been established between Pertamina Patra Niaga, the Oil and Gas Downstream Regulatory Body (BPH Migas), and the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri), and emphasised the importance of cross-institutional collaboration in safeguarding the energy subsidy mandate for the public.

He continued that this collaboration can be further enhanced through the development of more adaptive systems, including the utilisation of digital technology to improve accuracy while minimising reliance on manual processes.

“We believe that strong synergy between Pertamina Patra Niaga, BPH Migas, and Korlantas Polri is the key to realising targeted, equitable, and sustainable energy subsidies,” said Mars Ega.

Through strengthening this collaboration, Pertamina Patra Niaga, together with Korlantas Polri and BPH Migas, is committed to continuously improving data quality and monitoring systems, so that the distribution of subsidised fuel can run more targeted, transparently, and provide optimal benefits for entitled recipients.

Previously, Pertamina Patra Niaga, along with BPH Migas and Korlantas, signed a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) on the Exchange and Utilisation of Motor Vehicle Data and/or Information in the Regulation and Control of Consumers Using Certain Types of Fuel Oil (JBT) and Special Assignment Fuel Oil (JBKP) in Semarang, Central Java, on Wednesday (22/4).
