Pertamina Coordinates Tow Truck Drivers' Aspirations with BPH Migas

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga understands and respects the aspirations expressed by towing truck business operators in Surabaya regarding access to subsidised fuel for towing/car carrier vehicles to support their operational activities.

Pertamina held discussions with BPH Migas during a meeting on 30 September 2026 regarding these aspirations, and the proposal is currently undergoing an evaluation process by BPH Migas.

The VP of Corporate Communication at Pertamina Patra Niaga, Kitty Andhora, emphasised that Pertamina Patra Niaga acts as the implementer of fuel distribution policies in accordance with the regulations set by the Government through BPH Migas. The provisions regarding the allocation and distribution of subsidised fuel fall under the authority of the regulator.

“We understand and respect the aspirations presented by our colleagues in the towing truck business in Surabaya. These aspirations were presented and discussed directly with BPH Migas in a meeting on 30 September 2026, and are currently in the evaluation process by BPH Migas,” said Kitty in a press release on Thursday (1/10/2026).

“Pertamina Patra Niaga will follow and implement every provision established by BPH Migas. While awaiting the results of this evaluation, we remain committed to maintaining the continuity of public services and ensuring that the energy needs of the community continue to be well-served in accordance with applicable regulations.”

Pertamina Patra Niaga also continues to maintain communication and coordination with BPH Migas and all stakeholders to ensure that these aspirations can be followed up through the appropriate mechanisms.

“We urge all parties to maintain the smooth flow of public activities and access to operational facilities while the evaluation process by the regulator is ongoing,” concluded Kitty.
