Pertamina Patra Niaga has assured that fuel distributions and supplies in the Jawa Timur, Bali and Nusa Tenggara (Jatimbalinus) region are secure in the face of the Middle East geopolitical crisis. The company urged the public to remain calm and not panic-buy fuel, stating that stock resilience in the region is currently around 13 days. Fuel availability is being reinforced through regular and scheduled supply and distribution planned as part of the established supply chain. The company will continue to strengthen cross-sector coordination with the government, law enforcement agencies, and various stakeholders to anticipate dynamics or disruptions in the distribution process. As a precautionary measure, the state-owned oil and gas company’s subsidiary has implemented Regular, Alternative and Emergency (RAE) distribution methods in energy supply chain management. Mitigation efforts focus on maintaining supply resilience while prioritising worker safety, asset security, and operational continuity through intensive monitoring and strengthened risk management. In anticipation of the Eid al-Fitr holiday and the period of Ramadan travel (mudik), Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional will begin its Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr task force on 9 March 2026. The task force will ensure infrastructure readiness, supply, and energy services for the public during Ramadan until Eid al-Fitr.
