The Board of Commissioners of Pertamina recently conducted inspections at several petrol stations in Bali to ensure that services align with established high standards. The visits included the COCO 51.801.30 station in East Denpasar on Sunday, 31 May 2026, followed by inspections at stations in Renon and Sanur on Monday, 1 June 2026.

Pertamina’s President Commissioner, Mochamad Iriawan, stated that as Bali serves as a global tourism showcase, the visit was essential to verify fuel stock availability, facilities, and service quality in the centre of Denpasar. He emphasised the importance of station managers maintaining cleanliness and environmental standards, while urging operators to provide friendly and professional service to enhance customer comfort.

Similarly, Pertamina’s Independent Commissioner, Condro Kirono, noted that the inspection aimed to observe the performance of the COCO station in Denpasar. During his observations, he noted a high level of public awareness regarding the use of non-subsidised fuels, such as Pertamax and Pertamax Turbo. He suggested that continuous socialisation efforts towards the public, automotive communities, and dealers are necessary to highlight the engine efficiency and performance benefits of these products.

Furthermore, Condro encouraged petrol station operators to be creative in optimising their premises. He suggested utilising available areas for tenants to generate additional revenue, transforming petrol stations into lifestyle hubs where customers can shop or enjoy coffee rather than just refuelling.

Iwan Yudha Wibawa, Executive General Manager of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Jatimbalinus, explained that the company has received significant feedback from the Board of Commissioners. This feedback covers service standards, safety protocols, service excellence, and energy reliability. He stated that these insights will serve as a catalyst for the Jatimbalinus Regional team to improve operations and provide the best possible service to the people of Bali.
