Mochamad Iriawan, Chairman of PT Pertamina (Persero), inspected the Rest Area petrol station at KM 57 on the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road as part of the Ramadan 1447 H Safari initiative on Monday evening. The inspection was conducted to ensure fuel stock availability and readiness of facilities and amenities for the public ahead of the anticipated surge in travel during the 2026 Eid holiday exodus.

“I came down to the field today to ensure there are no obstacles whatsoever in distribution. Every drop of fuel must reach consumers smoothly. This KM 57 petrol station is a vital point, so fuel stock availability and service speed here are top priorities,” Iriawan stated in his official remarks on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.

Beyond monitoring technical aspects such as fuel tanks and dispenser areas, he conducted a detailed inspection of support facilities that directly impact the comfort of holiday travellers. These included the cleanliness of prayer room facilities, toilets, and the availability of clean water to accommodate the expected surge of thousands of visitors.

During his visit, the executive commonly known as Iwan Bule also monitored the readiness of non-cash payment services to expedite refuelling operations and minimise long queues. He also inspected the health post preparedness and field personnel readiness in managing smooth traffic flow in the petrol station area.

Iwan Bule engaged in dialogue with and expressed appreciation to operators and field personnel who will be on standby during the Eid holiday period.

“The dedication of our colleagues in the field is key. Provide the best service with a smile, but I instruct firmly that HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) aspects remain the top priority. There is zero tolerance for safety issues amid the expected traffic congestion,” he said.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Baron, Vice President of Corporate Communication at PT Pertamina (Persero), stated that the presence of Pertamina’s management team at crucial locations represents the company’s full commitment to maintaining national energy security.

In anticipation of the projected surge in vehicle volumes during the 2026 holiday exodus, Pertamina has deployed additional services. These include Pertamina Delivery Service (fuel delivery on demand), mobile fuel tank vehicles (Portable Petrol Stations), and placement of modular petrol stations at strategic points to alleviate congestion.

“Ensuring energy availability and service readiness for holiday travellers has been the primary focus of the entire Pertamina management and leadership. The direct inspection by the Chairman provides additional motivation to field personnel, whilst simultaneously ensuring strict oversight so that the public can travel for the holidays with peace of mind and comfort,” Baron concluded.
