Mochamad Iriawan, Chief Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero), conducted a field inspection visit to the Jakarta-Cikampek Toll Road Rest Area Fuel Station at kilometre 57 on Monday evening, 9 March 2026. The inspection was carried out to ensure readiness of energy supply and service quality for the public ahead of the Eid holiday travel period in 2026.

The visit, part of the Ramadan 1447 Hijri Safari series, focused on directly checking the availability of fuel stocks and the readiness of supporting facilities and infrastructure at the petrol station, which is one of the vital points for holiday travellers.

“I came down to the field today to ensure there are no obstacles, however small, in distribution. Every drop of fuel must reach consumers smoothly. This kilometre 57 petrol station is a vital point, so fuel stock availability and service speed here are the top priority,” stated Mochamad Iriawan, commonly known as Iwan Bule.

During his visit, Iwan Bule not only monitored technical aspects such as storage tanks and fuel dispensing areas, but also inspected various supporting facilities that directly affect the comfort of holiday travellers. He ensured the cleanliness of prayer rooms and toilets, as well as the availability of clean water to accommodate thousands of visitors during the holiday period.

Additionally, the readiness of non-cash payment systems was also monitored to expedite the fuel refuelling process and minimise long queues. Iwan Bule also ensured the readiness of health posts and the alertness of field staff in maintaining smooth traffic flow in the petrol station area.

On this occasion, he also held discussions with operators and field staff and expressed appreciation for their dedication in remaining on standby during the Eid holiday period.

“The dedication of our colleagues in the field is key. Provide the best service with a smile, but I firmly instruct that HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment) aspects remain the top priority. There is no tolerance for safety issues amid heavy traffic ahead,” he said.

Meanwhile, VP Corporate Communication at PT Pertamina (Persero), Muhammad Baron, stated that the presence of management at strategic locations represents the company’s commitment to maintaining national energy resilience.

“Ensuring energy availability and service readiness for holiday travellers has become the main focus of all management and Pertamina officers. The Chief Commissioner’s direct inspection provides additional motivation for field staff, while also ensuring strict supervision so that the public can travel during the holidays with peace of mind and comfort,” Baron said.

Facing the projected surge in vehicle volume during the 2026 Eid holiday travel period, Pertamina has also prepared various additional services. These include the Pertamina Delivery Service for fuel delivery orders, fuel tanker trucks or Pocket Petrol Stations, as well as placement of modular petrol stations at several strategic points to reduce potential congestion during the holiday travel period.
