Jakarta – PT Pertamina (Persero) President Director Simon Aloysius Mantiri has provided an explanation regarding the increase in non-subsidised fuel prices, namely Pertamax (RON 92) and Pertamax Green (RON 95), effective 10 June 2026. He conveyed this in a video upload on Pertamina’s official Instagram account on Thursday afternoon, 11 June 2026. “In relation to the adjustment of non-subsidised fuel prices, namely Pertamax and Pertamax Green, which took effect on 10 June 2026, we understand that any price adjustment is certainly a matter of public concern,” Simon said. He explained that the decision to raise the non-subsidised fuel prices was made by considering global geopolitical dynamics and prices on the international oil market, whilst still taking into account the public’s purchasing power. Therefore, with the full support of the government, Simon emphasised that Pertamina will remain committed to safeguarding energy availability for the public across all regions of Indonesia, especially amidst the current evolving global challenges. He explained that this adjustment of non-subsidised fuel prices is not only applied at Pertamina petrol stations but also at other private business entity petrol stations. However, Simon assured that the government and the company remain committed to keeping subsidised fuel prices unchanged. “Responding to the current developments regarding fuel prices, we need to convey that the prices of subsidised fuels, namely Pertalite and Biosolar, have not changed. The price of Pertalite remains at Rp 10,000 per litre and Biosolar at Rp 6,800 per litre, in accordance with the provisions set by the government,” Simon said. “We are grateful for the public’s support thus far. And let us together use energy wisely,” he said. The updated fuel prices per 10 June 2026 are: Subsidised Diesel at Rp 6,800 per litre, Pertalite at Rp 10,000 per litre, Pertamax Turbo at Rp 20,750 per litre, Dexlite at Rp 23,000 per litre, Pertamina DEX at Rp 24,800 per litre, Pertamax (RON 92) at Rp 16,250 per litre, up from Rp 12,300 per litre, and Pertamax Green 95 at Rp 17,000 per litre, up from Rp 12,900 per litre.
