Pertamina, BP, Shell and Vivo Officially Raise Fuel Prices from 1 March 2026 – Check the Difference!
Important news for motorists across Indonesia. Entering the first day of March 2026, two major fuel suppliers in Indonesia, PT Pertamina (Persero) and BP Indonesia, have officially adjusted the selling prices of their non-subsidised fuel products.
The price increase has been observed evenly across various types of fuel, ranging from RON 92 to diesel grades. For those planning to refuel today, it is crucial to review the latest price breakdown in order to adjust your monthly expenditure budget accordingly.
Based on official data from BP Indonesia’s website as of Sunday (1/3), the price of BP 92, previously listed at Rp12,050 per litre, has now increased to Rp12,390 per litre. This increase has also been followed by BP Ultimate, which now reaches Rp12,920 per litre.
However, the most significant increase is evident in the diesel sector. BP Ultimate Diesel has surged considerably from Rp13,600 in February to Rp14,620 per litre in March.
Pertamina has likewise updated prices for the Jabodetabek region. For Pertamax (RON 92), prices are now at Rp12,300 per litre, up Rp500 from the previous month which stood at Rp11,800.
Good news: whilst non-subsidised fuel prices continue to rise, the government has ensured that subsidised and assigned fuel prices remain stable. Pertalite remains fixed at Rp10,000 per litre and Biosolar remains at Rp6,800 per litre.
The increase in non-subsidised fuel prices is driven by fluctuations in global crude oil prices and the exchange rate of the Indonesian Rupiah. Ensure you monitor fuel price developments regularly for better financial planning.
After becoming temporarily limited, quality BP 92 fuel is now available again across the entire BP filling station network in the Jabodetabek region and West Java.
