PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Jatimbalinus has increased the supply of 3kg subsidized LPG in the Madiun Raya area of East Java to ensure adequate stock during the extended Idul Adha holiday period from 27 to 31 May 2026. Ahad Rahedi, Area Manager for Communication, Relations and CSR at Pertamina Patra Niaga Jatimbalinus, stated on Tuesday in Madiun that during the extended Idul Adha holiday period, the company has implemented facultative deliveries as an additional measure beyond regular supplies, increasing by 99-100% to meet rising demand. “During this extended holiday period, LPG is a key product used in community activities. To address the surge in demand, we have mitigated risks by implementing facultative deliveries beyond regular supplies to meet increased public needs,” Rahedi said. Pertamina Patra Niaga Jatimbalinus has prepared facultative deliveries of up to 99% above the daily average, totalling 1.5 million cylinders for the entire East Java region. This is expected to meet community needs during the extended holiday week, allowing residents to enjoy the long weekend without concern. Specifically, Madiun City received an additional 100% increase of 11,520 subsidized cylinders, while Madiun Regency saw a 100% rise of 30,240 cylinders. Ngawi also had a 100% increase of 27,040 cylinders, Magetan a 99% increase of 23,120, Ponorogo a 100% increase of 29,680, and Pacitan a 100% increase of 15,120. “Facultative deliveries in Madiun and surrounding areas have increased by an average of 99% to 100% above daily averages,” he added. Rahedi urged residents not to hoard, as energy stocks are secure and sufficient, and advised purchasing only what is needed. Pertamina encouraged the public to use LPG according to its intended purpose, with 3kg subsidized LPG reserved for lower-income households, while higher-income groups should use non-subsidized Brightgas. For fuel services, Pertamina Patra Niaga Jatimbalinus has also built up stocks as needed, conducted intensive checks on fuel stations, and ensured Quantity and Quality (QQ) standards for petrol. Pertamina Patra Niaga confirmed that energy supplies in East Java, including both petrol and LPG, are secure and sufficient to meet local demand.
