Pertamina Appreciates Ride-Hailing Partners Through BOOM Programme Phase 1
PT Pertamina (Persero), through Pertamina Patra Niaga, has conducted the draw for the Berkah Ojek Online MyPertamina (BOOM) Phase 1 programme as a gesture of appreciation for ride-hailing drivers who work tirelessly to transport the public and maintain mobility.
The Phase 1 draw took place at Pertamina SPBU Daan Mogot 31.114.03 in Jakarta, coinciding with the second stage of the Free Emission Testing programme.
For Phase 1, Pertamina Patra Niaga awarded 25 Yamaha Lexi 155 scooters to ride-hailing partners who participated in the BOOM programme. The period ran from 1 February to 30 April 2026, with 4,504 participants from various ride-hailing platforms. A total of 254,456 electronic draw vouchers were collected from participants redeeming MyPertamina points.
Heppy Wulansari, VP of Marketing at Pertamina Patra Niaga, noted that ride-hailing drivers play a crucial role as ‘road warriors’ supporting public mobility and have high fuel demands.
‘We greatly appreciate ride-hailing partners for using premium fuels such as Pertamax Turbo, Pertamax Green 95, and Pertamax. They serve as a positive role model by adopting non-subsidised fuels appropriate for their segment while demonstrating concern for vehicle engine quality and the environment. We hope participation and draw entries will increase in subsequent periods,’ Heppy stated in a press release on Monday (25 May 2026).
Heppy added that ride-hailing drivers have a special relationship with Pertamina petrol stations as rest stops, not only for fuel transactions but also for using facilities such as toilets, prayer rooms, or simply taking a break.
Separately, Corporate Secretary Roberth MV Dumatubun explained that the BOOM programme is one way Pertamina Patra Niaga recognises ride-hailing drivers who support daily public activities, making them deserving of appreciation through beneficial initiatives.
‘Pertamina Patra Niaga extends its highest appreciation to the ’road heroes’ who daily facilitate public mobility. Through the BOOM programme, ride-hailing partners can transact more conveniently and profitably via MyPertamina,’ Roberth stated.
One BOOM participant from Grab ride-hailing driver Yasin Fadila, known as Hatori, expressed enthusiasm for the programme despite not winning in Phase 1.
‘It wasn’t my luck this phase, but hopefully next time. I’ll definitely use MyPertamina more often and support Pertamina’s programmes, especially for fellow ride-hailing drivers,’ Hatori said.
The Phase 1 BOOM draw was witnessed by representatives from the Ministry of Social Affairs (Emma Masruroh and Bramundita Haryo Yulyanto), the Social Affairs Office (Rudy Syahrul and Marvel Sihombing), Police (Ipda Supriadi), Kemasindo (Kemas M Faisal Azhari), and notary Amelia Jonathan to ensure transparency and accountability.
The BOOM draws will continue in Phase 2 for transactions between 1 May and 31 July 2026, and Phase 3 for those between 1 August and 31 October 2026. Through this programme, Pertamina Patra Niaga aims to encourage more consumers to utilise the features and benefits available on the MyPertamina app.
