Pertamina announces no change in fuel prices on 1 April 2026
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Pertamina has announced that there will be no adjustments to the prices of Fuel Oil (BBM), whether non-subsidised or subsidised, in accordance with government policy directives. “Pertamina is ready to implement the government’s policy in maintaining national economic stability amid the global energy crisis,” said Pertamina’s Vice President of Corporate Communication, Muhammad Baron, to ANTARA when contacted from Jakarta on Tuesday. Baron conveyed that Pertamina’s primary priority at present is to provide energy and optimise the supply chain to distribute energy throughout the country. “The role and support of the public are very much needed by remaining calm and using energy wisely,” he said. These efforts are being carried out through strengthened coordination and negotiations with suppliers, as well as the optimisation of the distribution system to ensure that supplies remain safe and available to the public. Pertamina Patra Niaga also affirmed that it will continue to make maximum efforts in facing existing dynamics, prioritising service reliability and the continuity of national energy distribution. Pertamina Patra Niaga’s Corporate Secretary, Roberth MV Dumatubun, stated that Pertamina Patra Niaga always implements government policies, including in the determination of BBM prices.
