Pertamina announces fuel prices remain unchanged as of 1 October
The Vice President of Corporate Communication at Pertamina Patra Niaga, Kitty Andhora, has announced that the prices for both subsidised and non-subsidised fuel as of 1 October 2026 will remain unchanged compared to September 2026.
“As of 1 October, the prices for both subsidised and non-subsidised fuel remain the same as the September prices,” Kitty stated, as confirmed by ANTARA in Jakarta on Thursday.
Furthermore, she noted that the prices for subsidised fuels, such as Pertalite and Biosolar, will align with government policy, meaning no price changes are expected until the end of 2026.
Meanwhile, Kitty explained that the pricing for non-subsidised fuel continues to take various factors and community conditions into account. “Therefore, up to this point, the same prices from the previous period are still being applied,” she said.
According to Pertamina’s official website in Jakarta on Thursday, non-subsidised fuel prices have remained unchanged since 2 September 2026. The detailed fuel prices as of 1 October 2026 are as follows: Pertalite at Rp10,000 per litre (fixed until the end of the year); Biosolar at Rp6,800 per litre (fixed until the end of the year); Pertamax at Rp15,950 per litre; Pertamax Turbo at Rp19,600 per litre; and Pertamax Green at Rp19,150 per litre.
Additionally, Dexlite is priced at Rp23,700 per litre, and Pertamina Dex is at Rp25,200 per litre.
The Deputy Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM), Yuliot, ensured that subsidised fuels such as Pertalite and Biosolar will not increase, despite global oil prices breaching $107 per barrel. However, he added that non-subsidised fuel prices may undergo adjustments as they follow market trends.
These adjustments for non-subsidised fuel will be based on the average global oil price over a one-month period. Yayan Satyakti, a researcher and lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Padjadjaran University, projects that non-subsidised fuel prices could rise by 5–11 per cent in October, calculated from the market average between 25 August and 25 September 2026.
