President Director of PT Pertamina (Persero) Simon Aloysius Mantiri stated that amidst the dynamics of the global energy industry and economic challenges, the company continues to safeguard national energy security, strengthen the energy transition, and maintain healthy financial performance to support development and deliver benefits to the public.

According to Mantiri, this achievement reflects a fundamentally strong business and the effectiveness of the company’s strategy in maintaining performance across all energy business lines.
Pertamina also contributed Rp 360.76 trillion to the state through taxes, non-tax state revenue (PNBP), and dividends. In addition, the company realised domestic investment of approximately US$5.9 billion, or Rp 97.20 trillion, and recorded Domestic Product Spending Absorption (PDN) of Rp 531.5 trillion, which provided a multiplier effect for the national economy.

Pertamina also continues to strengthen the energy transition through the development of new and renewable energy. Throughout 2025, electricity production reached 8,711 GWh, an increase of 3% from the previous year.
Furthermore, Pertamina implemented various decarbonisation programmes across all business lines, successfully reducing carbon emissions by 2.27 million tonnes of CO₂e throughout 2025. These efforts are part of Pertamina’s support for the Net Zero Emission (NZE) target.
“Overall, the achievements of the 2025 financial year demonstrate that Pertamina is not only strengthening national energy security but also driving the transition towards lower-carbon energy, increasing its contribution to the national economy, and maintaining healthy and sustainable financial fundamentals,” said Simon, as quoted from an official statement on Wednesday (24/6/2026).
Simon added that these efforts are realised through an approach focused on energy availability, accessibility, affordability, and acceptability for the public. “For Pertamina, these achievements do not merely reflect corporate performance. Behind them lies an even greater responsibility to ensure energy remains available and reliable for the public, industry, and various strategic sectors that drive the national economy,” Simon said.
Meanwhile, President Commissioner of PT Pertamina (Persero) Mochamad Iriawan expressed appreciation to the shareholders for their support throughout 2025. He also conveyed his gratitude for the dedication, hard work, and contributions of the Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors, and all Pertamina officers in maintaining the company’s performance and sustainability.
