PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has added 3.26 million LPG cylinders to meet the needs of the community in the North Sumatra region (Sumbagut) ahead of Eid 2026. “As a measure to anticipate the increased LPG consumption ahead of Eid al-Fitr, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagut is adding LPG supply during the H-7 to H Eid period by 3,263,680 cylinders,” said Executive General Manager of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagut, Sunardi, in his statement in Jakarta on Friday. According to him, this addition is equivalent to an average daily supply increase of 407,960 cylinders per day or 12 percent higher than the normal daily distribution. The LPG is distributed to the working areas of Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagut. For the Aceh region, the additional LPG supply during the H-7 to H Eid al-Fitr period reaches 353,920 cylinders or an average daily addition of 58,987 cylinders. In North Sumatra, the additional LPG supply reaches 1,461,040 cylinders or an average daily addition of 182,630 cylinders. Meanwhile, in West Sumatra, the additional LPG supply reaches 614,880 cylinders or an average daily addition of 76,860 cylinders. For Riau, the additional LPG supply reaches 641,760 cylinders or an average daily addition of 91,680 cylinders. Whereas in the Riau Islands, the additional LPG supply reaches 192,080 cylinders, with an average daily addition of 32,013 cylinders. Sunardi continued that this additional supply is part of Pertamina’s commitment to ensuring that the community can carry out Ramadan worship and celebrate Eid al-Fitr comfortably. “Pertamina is committed to presenting a comfortable Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr moment for the community by ensuring that energy distribution runs smoothly. This is also part of our commitment to continue serving the community wholeheartedly,” he said. According to him, Pertamina Patra Niaga Regional Sumbagut continues to intensively monitor the LPG distribution conditions in the field and coordinates with local governments and distributor partners to ensure optimal LPG distribution to the community.
