BEIJING, KOMPAS.com – Increases in the price of non-subsidised fuel often become a factor that is feared to affect vehicle purchase interest. However, Jetour assesses that its impact is not as great as imagined.

Moch Ranggy Radiansyah, Marketing Director of PT Jetour Sales Indonesia, stated that fuel is indeed a consideration, but not the main factor in consumers’ decisions to buy cars.

Amid these conditions, Jetour’s strategy is instead focused on efficiency and product suitability to market needs. This is evident in the Jetour T2, which is currently the best-selling model in Indonesia.

“So it has been designed in such a way that it is indeed suitable for RON 92. So with Pertamax, long-term use will not pose any problems,” he said.

With the use of RON 92 fuel or Pertamax, the Jetour T2 is still considered relevant for consumers, especially because this type of fuel remains a common choice in the market.

In terms of performance, the Jetour T2 also remains competitive. This SUV is equipped with a 2,000 cc 4-cylinder turbo engine, which produces 241 hp at 5,500 rpm and 375 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm.

That power is transmitted through a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission, providing a balance between performance and efficiency.

With a fuel tank capacity of up to 70 litres, the T2 also offers sufficient range for long-distance use, supporting the character of an SUV designed for various travel scenarios.
