PT Pertamina Patra Niaga is currently evaluating the possibility of adjusting prices for non-subsidised fuel oil (BBM) types Pertamax 92 and Pertamax Green 95. “It is still in the evaluation stage,” explained Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, quoted from Kompas.com on Tuesday (21/4/2026). However, Pertamina has not yet provided certainty on whether the prices of Pertamax 92 and Pertamax Green 95 will rise or not. “This is still awaiting the results of the evaluation and coordination,” he clarified. The non-subsidised BBM prices that underwent adjustment as of 18 April 2026 are Pertamax Turbo from Rp 13,100 to Rp 19,400 per litre, Dexlite from Rp 14,200 to Rp 23,600 per litre, and Pertamina Dex from Rp 14,500 to Rp 23,900 per litre. For Pertamax 92, the price remains at Rp 12,300 per litre and Pertamax Green 95 at Rp 12,900 per litre. This is due to the continuously rising global oil prices as a result of the conflict in the Middle East. “If the price (of global oil) falls, then (Pertamax prices) won’t rise. But if the price keeps rising like this, then there will certainly be an adjustment,” explained Bahlil on Monday (20/4/2026). The second stage will depend on the global oil price situation. “For non-subsidised BBM, there is a price adjustment. The first stage may be carried out as it is now. For the next stage, we will see the adjustment,” he added. For subsidised BBM, Bahlil assured that the government will not raise prices until the end of 2026.
