PT Pertamina Patra Niaga has officially announced an increase in the price of its non-subsidised fuels, Pertamax and Pertamax Green 95, effective Wednesday, 10 June 2026. Corporate Secretary of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Roberth MV Dumatubun, stated that the price adjustment follows a periodic evaluation of the pricing formula set by the government and developments in global crude oil prices. Based on official company data, the price of Pertamax (RON 92) has risen from the previous Rp12,300 to Rp16,250 per litre. Meanwhile, the Pertamax Green 95 (RON 95) product is now priced at Rp17,000 per litre, up from the previous Rp12,900 per litre. He explained that the fuel price adjustment was decided after a rigorous coordination process with the government as the regulator. The adjustment is claimed to be an effort to maintain the sustainability of energy supply amidst fluctuating market economic prices. Roberth stated that the price adjustment for Pertamax and Pertamax Green was carried out after an evaluation process in accordance with the pricing formula established by the government. Addressing potential public concerns regarding fuel availability, Pertamina provided assurance that supply across its entire network of General Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU) remains secure despite today’s increase. Roberth confirmed that the distribution of quality fuel will continue to run optimally throughout Indonesia. The company ensures that the supply of Pertamax and Pertamax Green remains safe and available at Pertamina’s SPBU network. Although these two types of non-subsidised fuels saw an increase, Pertamina confirmed that the prices of other fuel products remain unchanged. This is expected to help maintain public purchasing power stability in other transport sectors. The price adjustment officially takes effect across all regions of Indonesia on 10 June 2026 at 00:00 local time. The public is advised to monitor the latest price information through Pertamina’s official channels or the MyPertamina application.
