Pertagas Targets Gas Distribution Growth in 2026

PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas) is targeting business growth in 2026, following positive performance throughout 2025. At least, the company is aiming for an increase in gas distribution volume as well as oil transportation. Pertagas’s President Director, Indra Sembiring, stated that the company’s revenue in 2025 reached US$861 million, an increase of around 2% compared to the previous year. In terms of profitability, Pertagas recorded an EBITDA of US$427.5 million, up 15.9% year-on-year. “This means there is growth compared to last year. And this EBITDA is US$427.5 million, which is an increase of 15.9% compared to last year. And this actually provides enthusiasm and challenges,” said Indra at the CNBC Indonesia Energy Corner event on Friday (8/5/2026). Therefore, for 2026, Pertagas targets a gas distribution volume of 1,600 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD). In addition, the oil transportation volume is also targeted to increase above 175,000 barrels per day. “This means that in 2026, we are also targeting growth. So our target for 2026 is gas distribution to 1,600 MMSCFD and for transportation to increase above 175,000 barrels per day,” he said. As is known, in 2025, Pertagas’s gas distribution realisation reached more than 1,500 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD). Meanwhile, oil distribution also increased by 8%. Pertagas recorded oil distribution in the Pertamina Nunukan area reaching around 175,000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD). In the regasification sector, the volume at the Arun LNG Terminal reached around 155 BBTUD, up 6% compared to the previous year. Meanwhile, LPG production from the PT Pertagas group reached around 450 tonnes per day. That figure is equivalent to around 14% of total national LPG production.
