Pertagas reaffirms commitment to sustainable safety across all operations
Jakarta (ANTARA) - PT Pertamina Gas (Pertagas), part of the Gas Subholding of PT Pertamina (Persero), has reaffirmed its commitment to implementing a sustainable safety culture across all company operational lines.
“We at Pertagas are committed to continuously strengthening a sustainable safety culture throughout all operational regions,” stated Pertagas VP of HSSE, Rotua Elyzability, in a statement received in Jakarta on Thursday.
Pertagas secured four awards at the Indonesia QHSE for Business Sustainability Awards (IQSA) 2026. These four awards cover categories including leadership, safety culture, and digital innovation in the application of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE).
This achievement serves as tangible evidence of Pertagas’ commitment to implementing a sustainable safety culture across all company operational lines. The consistent application of safety culture serves as the primary foundation for conducting safe and reliable business operations, supported by digital innovation as an implementation enabler.
As of July 2026, Pertagas recorded 123,312,070 safe man-hours without work-related accidents (zero accident) across all operational regions. In recognition of this achievement, Pertagas was honoured with ‘The Best Safety Culture and Sustainability 2026’ and ‘The Best QHSE Digital Innovation 2026’, acknowledging the company’s consistency in building a safety culture supported by digital transformation.
On this occasion, the Director of Finance and Business Support at Pertagas, Arifin Ahmad, also expressed appreciation to all PT Pertamina Gas employees for their consistent implementation of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) culture.
“This achievement is the result of the collective work of all Pertagas officers who consistently implement the Occupational Health and Safety (K3) culture. A safe and healthy working environment will directly impact worker productivity, while also serving as part of the long-term risk management strategy for the company’s operational sustainability,” said Arifin.
