Pertagas Distributes Aid to 39 Orphan and Poor Foundations Across 19 Districts
PT Pertamina Gas (“Pertagas”), an affiliate of Pertamina’s Gas Subholding, has distributed aid to orphan and poor foundations as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme during Ramadan 1447 H.
The initiative is being implemented across several operational regions of the company as a demonstration of concern and social responsibility towards communities in the surrounding work areas.
Pertagas Corporate Secretary Sulthani Adil Mangatur stated that distributing aid during Ramadan represents the company’s commitment to communities located near its infrastructure operational areas.
“In 2026, aid is being provided to orphan and poor foundations in 19 municipalities as part of the company’s social responsibility towards communities in its operational areas,” Sulthani said in a statement on Sunday (13 March).
The symbolic handover of aid was conducted by Pertagas’s Board of Directors and Commissioners to representatives from 39 orphan and poor foundations as part of the Ramadan 1447 H Safari activities across eight operational regions. Aid distribution will subsequently be carried out in phases across various locations spread throughout 19 municipalities during the Ramadan month.
As part of the Ramadan Safari, the Commissioners, Directors, and Management of Pertamina Gas also conducted a Management Walkthrough (MWT) to ensure the readiness and reliability of operational facilities in supporting energy distribution ahead of Eid al-Fitr 1447 H.
According to Sulthani, sharing activities during Ramadan also form part of the company’s reflection and gratitude for the smooth operation of its activities.
Pertamina Gas currently operates and manages approximately 2,930 km of natural gas transmission pipelines and 605 km of petroleum transmission pipelines that play a role in supporting energy distribution across various regions of Indonesia.
Through various social programmes implemented, Pertagas seeks to maintain sustainable operations whilst continuing to address the needs of communities in its work areas, including during the Ramadan period and ahead of Eid al-Fitr.
