Jakarta (ANTARA) - Persis coach Milomir Seslija stated that he is not intimidated by Dewa United’s unbeaten record in the Super League when the two teams compete at the Manahan Stadium, Solo, tomorrow, Saturday.

“Dewa’s unbeaten record is similar to Bhayangkara; when they came here, they faced tough resistance from us. Dewa is a good team, but tomorrow we will give a strong performance,” said Seslija on the Persis website on Friday.

He affirmed that Persis is in a favourable position because they are the home team and will receive motivation from the supporters.

“Persis has extraordinary supporters; I am proud and touched, they always appreciate the team’s efforts,” he added.

Dewa United has gone through 12 matches in the Super League without defeat, with 19 matches ending in victory.

He acknowledged that Dewa United has a good squad depth.

“We have to be more patient because tomorrow we are facing one of the best teams in Indonesia, such as Borneo and Persib,” he concluded.

Persis must win to maintain their hopes of staying in the Super League. The team is in 16th place in the standings with 28 points.
