Persikota beats Semen Padang 2-0

PADANG, West Sumatra (JP): Saphou Lassy scored two goals to enable his team Persikota to beat Semen Padang 2-0 in front of a home crowd during the preliminary round of the Bank Mandiri national soccer league on Thursday in the 22th and 74th minutes.

The disappointed spectators threw mineral water bottle into the stadium while some of them immediately broke into the soccer field to mob their players, but security officers foiled their attempts. No player was injured in the frenzy.

Semen Padang tied with PSBL Bandar Lampung at Padang in the league's opening match on Sunday. Four yellow cards were issued during the first encounter for harsh play.

Semen Padang's players who received yellow cards were Suriadi and Hamir Hamzah, while Persikota's players were Ritham Matubun and Lassy. (28)
