Jakarta (ANTARA) - Persija Jakarta has officially partnered with VIDA, a provider of digital identity solutions and fraud prevention in Indonesia, to digitise the club’s administrative processes and document signing.

This strategic step marks an important milestone in Persija’s digital transformation journey, particularly in building more secure, structured, and high-standard document governance.

The collaboration makes Persija the first football club in Indonesia to implement VIDA’s certified electronic signatures within its administrative system.

‘Persija wants to continue growing and adapting to technological developments. The collaboration with VIDA, via VIDA Sign, is a concrete step for us to deliver more effective, safer administrative processes, while strengthening the club’s governance sustainably,’ said Persija Director Mohamad Prapanca on Thursday.

Under this collaboration, signing processes are now carried out in a centralised and verified system, allowing documents to be completed much faster. Documents involved include player contracts, sponsorship and vendor cooperation agreements, and various internal club documents.

Not only does it speed up processes, but VIDA Sign’s implementation will also simplify identity verification comprehensively, including for foreign nationals involved in signing processes. This capability strengthens Persija as a professional club operating within a dynamic and global ecosystem.

‘Persija and VIDA share the same spirit, namely building trust, transparency, and professionalism in every process. Over the next year, this partnership is expected to bring tangible benefits and form the foundation for developing Persija’s digital system to a more advanced stage,’ Prapanca said.

Meanwhile, Niki Luhur, founder and Group CEO of VIDA, expressed appreciation for the trust shown by Macan Kemayoran.

‘We are proud to support Persija in strengthening a digital-based administrative system that is secure and trustworthy. Certified electronic signatures are not only about efficiency, but also about ensuring every document is protected from misuse and fraud. This collaboration shows that digital transformation in the sports industry also requires a strong digital identity foundation,’ said Niki.

Persija currently holds 51 points from 24 matches, in second place in the 2025/2026 BRI Super League. They trail by three points from leaders Persib Bandung, who have played 23 matches.

In the next match, the Mauricio Souza-coached side will host Dewa United Banten FC at home on 15 March.
