Persija Accelerates Digital Transformation, Club Administration Now Uses Electronic Signatures

Persija Jakarta continues to overhaul the organisation’s governance by leveraging digital technology. The club, nicknamed Macan Kemayoran, has officially partnered with VIDA to digitise administrative processes and the signing of various club documents. Through this collaboration, Persija becomes the first football club in Indonesia to implement certified electronic signatures via VIDA Sign in the club’s administrative system. Director of Persija, Mohamad Prapanca, said digital transformation is a strategic step to strengthen the organisation’s foundations while aligning with technological developments. ‘Persija wants to continue to grow and adapt to technological developments. The partnership with VIDA through VIDA Sign is a concrete step for us to deliver more effective and secure administrative processes, while strengthening the club’s governance on a sustainable basis,’ Prapanca said in an official statement in Jakarta on Thursday, 5 March 2026. With the support of the VIDA platform, the document signing process is now conducted in a centralised and verified system. Completion can take place more quickly than conventional methods. Documents processed cover a range of administrative needs for the club, from player contracts and sponsor and vendor cooperation agreements to internal organisational documents. Persija’s Deputy Chief of Finance, Rinaldo, said digitalisation is an important step in improving the club’s governance efficiency. ‘This digital breakthrough is not only developing on the pitch but also in the governance of the organisation. With a fully digital system, it is expected that administrative processes will become easier and more efficient in the future,’ he said. In addition to speeding up administrative processes, the VIDA Sign implementation also enables comprehensive identity verification, including for foreign nationals involved in the signing process. Founder and Group CEO VIDA, Niki Luhur, welcomed the collaboration positively. He explained that in football club operations, many decisions must be made quickly and dynamically, while involved parties are often located in different places. ‘The VIDA platform enables the signing of documents to be carried out without the need for physical meetings. Football contracts, marketing, and finance documents can be processed through the app securely,’ said Diego.
