Persib vs. Madura United Schedule: The 'Maung' Mentality Without Bojan Hodak

BANDUNG, KOMPAS.com - Persib Bandung will play its 23rd-week match of the 2025-2026 Super League against Madura United without head coach Bojan Hodak.

The Persib vs. Madura United match will take place on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at the Gelora Bandung Lautan Api (GBLA) Stadium.

Bojan Hodak received a yellow card in Persib’s last match against Persita Tangerang last week. This was Hodak’s fourth yellow card of the season.

Previously, the Croatian coach was absent when Persib lost to Malut United at the Kie Raha Stadium, Ternate.

The same situation will occur, with assistant coach Igor Tolic accompanying the team on the sidelines.

“This can happen when the season is in progress. We are ready, we will still be accompanied by coach Igor (Tolic) here, and for us, it is the same,” said Barba.

“The most important thing is that we are all together, we talk together, and we are a team. When we are a team, all individuals must unite with each other,” said the former Como 1907 player.

The ‘Maung Bandung’ squad is not concerned with Persija Jakarta’s success in winning and getting closer to Persib’s points tally.

The team’s focus is on who the opponent is and finding a way to win, so that the points will be further ahead at the top of the standings.

“As the coach said, we have been preparing for the past two days, and we want to get three points. We are playing at home, this is the target of all of us to get three points,” he said.
