Persib Bandung vs Persik Kediri: Thom Haye Confident They Can Beat the White Tigers

Winger Thom Haye is optimistic Persib Bandung can beat Persik Kediri in the Super League match at Gelora Bandung Lautan Api Stadium on Monday. ‘We now have a good period to prepare. Especially since this is a home game and all players in the squad are very enthusiastic looking ahead to this match,’ Haye said in Bandung on Sunday.

Haye described the 1-1 draw in the first meeting as a point of evaluation and motivation to perform better in the home game. ‘We went through a tough away match in the first meeting, where we eventually managed to pick up a point there. So we are trying to take the positives from that game,’ he said.

He noted that all Persib players are highly motivated to face the match. He added that the team has used the break to sharpen the strategy against Persik. According to him, the internal conditions of the team are very conducive and all players show high enthusiasm.

Haye emphasised that a victory in the Persib Bandung vs Persik match is the main target for him and his teammates at home. ‘Of course we want to show a reaction after only earning one point on the road, and at home we want three points. Of course we must ensure we are in good condition,’ he said.
