Perisai 2026: A Collaborative Research Platform for Three Plantation Commodities

The Palm Oil Plantation Fund Management Agency (BPDP) is expanding the scope of its research programme following the issuance of Presidential Regulation No. 132 of 2024. Previously focused on palm oil, the agency has been tasked from 2025 with also supporting research and development for coconut and cocoa. To this end, the Indonesian Palm Oil Research Week (Perisai) 2026 will serve as a forum for researchers, academics, and industry players to drive innovation in the plantation sector for these three commodities.
