Jakarta — The Banking Community Care Committee (KMPP) of Perbanas, in collaboration with Artha Graha Peduli, organised a bazaar offering affordable staple foods, distributing thousands of packages to residents at the Perbanas Institute Field, Setiabudi, South Jakarta, on Thursday.

This event forms part of KMPP Perbanas’s social welfare programme aimed at assisting people with limited means, particularly in the campus vicinity.

The programme aligns with the low-price market activities that Artha Graha Peduli has consistently run since 11 December 2025 and continues to operate across various regions of Indonesia as part of efforts to stabilise prices and maintain purchasing power.

“Today’s activity is part of the work programme of KMPP Perbanas. In addition to the Perbanas Jakarta Campus, similar activities will also be held at the Perbanas Bekasi Campus and in several disaster-affected areas, including Aceh, Padang, Cisarua Bandung, Tegal, and Purbalingga,” he said.

Overall, the programme distributes thousands of staple food packages as a form of care for the community. “We hope the event runs orderly, safe, and smooth, and brings blessing to us all,” he added.

The staple food packages provided at the bazaar carry a subsidy of more than 50 per cent of their original value, giving significant relief to beneficiaries and helping to preserve purchasing power.

The bazaar is intended for economically constrained residents around the Perbanas Institute, including cleaners, security personnel, and small traders in the local area.

To ensure proper targeting, organisers have prepared a coupon system and are compiling data and verifying beneficiaries with local authorities.

Artha Graha Peduli representative Indrastomo stressed that this collaboration demonstrates a sustainable social commitment. “We believe care must be translated into tangible steps and strong collaboration. Through synergy with Perbanas and KMPP, Artha Graha Peduli wants to ensure that the aid provided truly benefits the community. This programme is not only about distributing staples, but also about maintaining the spirit of mutual cooperation and strengthening social resilience,” he said.

The event was made possible by the synergy between Artha Graha Peduli, KMPP Perbanas, and Perbanas Institute. The collaboration between the banking sector and an educational institution demonstrates that a spirit of togetherness can bring real benefits to the community.

In its implementation, the programme also collaborates with Bank Artha Graha International as part of the Artha Graha Network, which supports various social initiatives.

This support strengthens the shared commitment to delivering a programme that has not only short-term impact but also contributes to the sustainable economic resilience of communities.

Through this activity, Perbanas and Artha Graha Peduli reaffirm their commitment to remain actively involved in sustainable social programmes and to reach more beneficiaries in various regions across Indonesia.
