The Indonesian Advocates Association (PERADI) Professional has achieved a prestigious milestone by receiving an award from the Indonesian World Records Museum (MURI). This achievement serves as tangible proof of the organisation’s seriousness in restoring the dignity of the advocate profession in the country through strategic synergy with higher education institutions and the government. The prestigious award, recorded in Indonesian Record Charter Number 12803/MURI/VII/2026, was bestowed upon PERADI Professional for its success in becoming the advocate organisation with the most signed cooperation agreements. It has partnered with a total of 138 higher education institutions to organise advocate professional education, 108 of which are religious universities under the auspices of the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The Secretary General of the National Leadership Council of PERADI Professional, Yuhelson, emphasised that cross-sector collaboration between legal practitioners, academics, and the government is the absolute foundation for strengthening the law enforcement system in Indonesia. “This synergy is the cornerstone for upholding justice. In less than six months, PERADI Professional has managed to establish cooperation with more than 112 universities. This is a historical record,” Yuhelson stated on Friday. Yuhelson explained that the organisation’s main vision is to revitalise the dignity and honour of the legal profession, realised by focusing on improving the quality of education for prospective advocates. “What the Chairman conveyed earlier is clear, that PERADI Professional is different from other organisations. We want to restore the dignity of the advocate profession. That is why we are collaborating with academics and the government. These three pillars will become a historical milestone for upholding justice,” he said. Regarding the MURI record award, Yuhelson views this achievement as a form of validation and appreciation for the organisation’s real dedication to producing quality legal practitioners in Indonesia. “MURI took notice of what PERADI Professional has accomplished. This becomes a historical record and a stimulus for the nation’s children to continue being creative and improving achievements in the future,” he added. On the same occasion, the Chairman of PERADI Professional, Harris Arthur Hedar, also expressed deep appreciation to all stakeholders who have fully supported the organisation’s steps until it succeeded in setting this national record.
