Peradi Jaktim Officials Distribute Takjil Ahead of Iftar

East Jakarta DPC Peradi chairman Johannes Oberlin L Tobing led a takjil distribution featuring Hokben meals for breaking the fast for road users in front of the chapter’s secretariat. He was assisted by dozens of DPC committee members as they handed out food on Jalan Perintis Kemerdekaan, Pulomas, East Jakarta.

Although the area was briefly drenched by rain, this did not dampen the enthusiasm of Peradi Jaktim DPC members in distributing takjil to passing motorists. According to Johannes, the takjil distribution is one of Peradi Jaktim’s routine programmes.

“Especially the spiritual arm as a manifestation of the DPC Peradi Jaktim’s commitment to fostering social relations with the community during the holy month of Ramadan,” Johannes said in Jakarta, Saturday (7 March 2026).

Observers noted a wide cross-section of society taking part, from online ride-hailing drivers and minibus drivers to office workers and other motorists, who were keen to stop and sample the takjil. The Peradi Jaktim DPC hopes that those observing Ramadan have a smooth fast and receive blessings and the rewards of the holy month.
