PT Pertamina EP Cepu (PEPC) recorded oil production of 70,000 barrels per day throughout 2025, surpassing the company’s set target. This achievement serves as a key pillar for national energy supply amid government efforts to boost domestic oil and gas production. In addition to oil, PEPC produced 299.9 million cubic feet of gas per day. The company’s total oil and gas lifting for 2025 reached 94,349 barrels of oil equivalent per day.

PEPC President Director Ruby Mulyawan stated that this achievement was attained despite various challenges facing the oil and gas industry, including evolving business and operational dynamics. “This year’s achievement is the result of the hard work of all PEPC employees who have been able to adapt to every change that occurs,” Ruby said in a statement on Friday (12/6/2026).

Beyond the production increase, PEPC also recorded a carbon emission reduction of 13.19 kilotons of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e) throughout 2025. The company also posted a positive profit and obtained an Unqualified Opinion (Wajar Tanpa Pengecualian) on its financial statements. In the field of occupational safety, PEPC recorded more than 70 million safe working hours from 2017 to 2025, demonstrating that the company’s operations are conducted while maintaining safety standards.

PEPC President Commissioner Taufan Hunneman said this performance shows the company’s ability to maintain operations and productivity amidst economic and geopolitical challenges. Entering 2026, PEPC is targeting increased oil and gas production through accelerated field development. The company also plans to continue its emission reduction programmes and community empowerment initiatives in its operational areas.

PT Pertamina Hulu Energi Director of Development and Production Mery Luciawaty appreciated PEPC’s achievements throughout 2025. According to her, the success in maintaining oil and gas production and occupational safety is important capital to support the company’s targets in the following year. “The record of more than 70 million safe working hours and positive performance are achievements born from the hard work, discipline, and dedication of all PEPC employees,” Mery said. This production performance strengthens PEPC’s role as a key contributor in maintaining the national oil and gas supply amidst ever-increasing energy demand.
