State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi has inspected the construction of the People’s School in Remboken District, Minahasa Regency, North Sulawesi, a project currently being undertaken by PT Brantas Abipraya (Persero). The inspection was conducted to ensure the project remains on schedule while supporting the accelerated provision of educational access for the community.

Prasetyo personally reviewed the construction progress on Friday (29/05/2026). During the visit, he expressed his appreciation to the workers involved in the development of the educational facilities. “Thank you for your hard work in the construction of the People’s School in Remboken, Minahasa. Keep up the spirit, prioritise safety, and let our education advance,” stated Prasetyly, according to a press release from Brantas Abipraya on Tuesday (02/06/2026).

The construction of the People’s School is a government programme designed to expand inclusive and high-quality educational access. The presence of this school is expected to create broader opportunities for children to obtain a proper education while supporting the improvement of human resource quality.

The Minahasa People’s School is being built as an integrated, boarding-based educational zone encompassing primary, junior high, and senior high school levels. The area will also feature teacher flats, a mosque, a multipurpose hall, a canteen, and sports facilities.

Brantas Abipraya Corporate Secretary, Dian Sovana, stated that the construction emphasises work quality, punctuality, and occupational safety. “We ensure that the construction of this People’s School will not only be completed on time but will also meet the highest quality standards while prioritising safety aspects,” said Dian.

According to Dian, the development of the People’s School is part of the company’s support for enhancing national educational quality. Educational infrastructure is considered vital in preparing more competitive human resources for the future. He added that the project demonstrates the collaboration between the government and State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) in expanding equitable access to education across various regions. “Through the construction of the Minahasa People’s School, Brantas Abipraya is not merely providing physical buildings, but is also playing a part in preparing a growth space for Indonesia’s younger generation,” Dian concluded.
