Jakarta – The opportunity to join the government’s educational programme will open wide again in 2026. The Ministry of Social Affairs (Kemensos) has officially announced thousands of Government Employee with Work Agreement (PPPK) vacancies to support the operations of Sekolah Rakyat (People’s Schools), which will be established across various regions in Indonesia.
This recruitment is good news for job seekers aiming to build a career in education and public service, particularly those with a minimum educational background of a Diploma 3 (D3) or equivalent.
Kemensos Opens 5,127 PPPK Formations for Sekolah Rakyat
The Ministry of Social Affairs is opening a total of 5,127 educational staff formations for Sekolah Rakyat through the 2026 PPPK pathway. According to the official announcement, registration will be conducted online via the State Civil Service Candidate Selection System (SSCASN) portal managed by the National Civil Service Agency (BKN).
Online registration will open on Monday, 8 June 2026, through the official SSCASN BKN portal.
Through its official Instagram account, the ministry invited eligible citizens to participate in the programme. “There are five main educational staff positions we need to optimise the operations of Sekolah Rakyat,” the @kemensosri account stated in early June 2026.
List of Available Positions
There are five main positions required in this year’s PPPK Sekolah Rakyat selection:
- Wali Asuh (Student Mentor)
This position involves assisting students in daily activities, including character building and supervision during the educational process.
- Wali Asma
Wali Asma plays a role in supporting student development and helping to create a conducive learning environment.
- School Operator
The School Operator is responsible for managing educational administration data, school information systems, and reporting related to school operations.
- Finance Manager
This position is tasked with managing the budget and financial reports of Sekolah Rakyat in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Administrative Staff
Administrative staff will support various school administrative activities to ensure operations run smoothly and are well-organised.
General Applicant Requirements
Kemensos has set several requirements for applicants wishing to participate in the Sekolah Rakyat PPPK selection.
The main requirements include:
Minimum education of D3 or equivalent.
Minimum GPA of 3.10.
Aged between 20 and 45 years.
Fulfil all administrative requirements determined by the selection committee.
