People's School MPLS realises inclusive education in Banten

The implementation of the 2026 School Environment Introduction Period (MPLS) for People’s School students in Pandeglang Regency is a tangible manifestation of the Banten Provincial Government’s commitment to providing inclusive and equitable education for all segments of society.

“The People’s School education programme has reached various levels, from primary school, junior high school, to senior high school,” said Banten Deputy Governor Achmad Dimyati Natakusumah when opening the MPLS activities in Pandeglang on Friday.

Currently, Integrated People’s School (SRT) 1 Pandeglang Regency has 474 students out of a target of 540, covering primary, junior high and senior high education levels, with a quota of 180 students each.

Deputy Governor Dimyati appreciated the educational facilities used for the MPLS, describing them as highly representative. The existence of these facilities is the result of strong synergy, as the land used was a direct grant from the Pandeglang Regent, in addition to receiving funding support from the central government.

“The budget assistance comes from President Prabowo Subianto, channelled specifically through the social education programme with a value reaching Rp270 million,” he said.

With the availability of adequate infrastructure and support, Deputy Governor Dimyati instructed school principals to consistently maintain and care for the facilities that have been built so they can be utilised by students in the long term.

Not only focusing on the maintenance of physical buildings, Deputy Governor Dimyati also demanded improvements in academic quality within the People’s School environment. He specifically asked teaching staff to continue enhancing the quality of instruction to ensure children receive the best educational standards.

To optimise this integrated and inclusive education ecosystem, he encouraged collaboration among government agencies.

“I ask the Head of the Social Service and the Head of the Education Service to work together to oversee and develop the Integrated School programme through continuous guidance for People’s School students,” said Banten Deputy Governor Achmad Dimyati.

The Banten Provincial Government, he said, is targeting the emergence of a highly competitive next generation. This integration effort is expected to produce future national leaders whose contributions benefit religion, the nation and the world.
