People's Market Festival in Cimahi Encourages SMEs to Advance in Financial Management
Hundreds of residents crowded the Brigif Kujang 15 Field in Cimahi recently. The aroma of traditional snacks blended with cheerful music, children’s laughter, and the enthusiasm of business actors busy serving buyers. Last weekend felt different—not just a holiday, but a moment to level up together with the People’s Market Festival initiated by Kredit Pintar.
Through this event, Kredit Pintar provided a space for meetings between entertainment, education, and real opportunities for SMEs. Held on Sunday, 26 April 2026 from 06.00–12.00 WIB, the festival became part of the #TemanAturUang campaign, which encourages the public to dare to take further steps in developing businesses and achieving a more prosperous future.
Dozens of local SME actors participated in the bazaar close to everyday life. From culinary items, drinks, to fashion products and handicrafts, each stall presented stories of struggle. For many business actors, this festival was not just about sales, but also about opening exposure opportunities, networking, and business development.
Amid the event, Ronny Andi Kasim, President Director of Kredit Pintar, stated that the People’s Market Festival is a manifestation of their commitment to bringing broader benefits to society. “Through the #TemanAturUang campaign, we want to emphasise that Kredit Pintar not only provides financial access, but also stands as a friend supporting society in seeking opportunities, developing businesses, and daring to level up,” he said.
Furthermore, Ronny stated that this entertainment activity for the public is also a form of social concern and gratitude from Kredit Pintar to customers and the general public. Thus, the festival is designed as a fun, light, and still educational experience, while empowering SME actors and opening wider access for society.
“We believe every SME actor has great potential to grow. What is needed is not only capital, but also access, literacy, and space to develop. We present this festival as that space—inclusive, educational, and empowering,” Ronny continued.
Not only educational, the festival also featured various entertainments. Interactive games themed on financial literacy invited participation from visitors of all ages, while door prizes added to the festive atmosphere. The presence of Sallsa Bintan and Warga Koplo further enlivened the event, with the main prize of an electric bicycle enthusiastically received as a symbol of steps forward towards new opportunities.
Meanwhile, Puji Sukaryadi, Head of Brand & Communications at Kredit Pintar, added that through the People’s Market Festival, they aim to build a more positive understanding of online loans as a quick, transparent, and responsible financial solution. “We believe online loans not only help emergency needs, but can also support community economic activities and growth,” she said.
