Pentagon Staff Undergo Polygraph Tests Over Ammunition Stock Leaks

The leak of classified information regarding national security is considered a very serious matter.

New York (ANTARA) - Around 50 members of the United States military Joint Staff must undergo polygraph tests related to information leaks, including those concerning ammunition shortages, amidst the conflict with Iran.

As reported by The New York Times (NYT) on Friday (4/9), the polygraph tests were conducted last August, during which military officers and civilian employees at the US Department of Defense were questioned as to whether they leaked information regarding ammunition to the media.

When approached by the media, Pentagon Spokesperson Sean Parnell declined to comment on internal personnel matters or the ongoing investigation.
