Washington – Pentagon spokesman Sean Parnell stated on Tuesday (10 March) that approximately 140 United States military personnel have been injured, including eight with serious wounds, since the United States and Israel launched a combined military strike against Iran on 28 February.

“The majority of these injuries are classified as minor, and 108 military personnel have returned to duty. Eight other personnel remain listed as having serious injuries and are receiving the highest level of medical care,” Parnell said in a statement.

To date, seven US military personnel have been killed in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia amid the ongoing conflict between the US-Israel alliance and Iran.

On Monday (9 March), US President Donald Trump stated that US objectives in Iran have been nearly fully achieved.
