Penalties for employers violating Law No. 3/1992

1. Employers face up to six months jail or Rp 50 million
(US$5,430) in fines for failure to pay premiums for workers'
social security programs, for failure to provide compensation in
the event of occupational accidents of workers who have not been
registered with the scheme, for falsifying workers' salaries or
for failing to enroll their workers in the program.

2. Employers face up to eight months in prison for second
offenses.

3. In addition to the penalties mentioned above, employers also
face administrative penalties, fines and compensation payments.
