The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has arrested Pemalang Regent Anom Widiyantoro in a sting operation (OTT). KPK Deputy Chairperson Fitroh Rohcahyanto confirmed the arrest. The KPK has not yet detailed the parties detained or the specific case ensnaring Anom. Those detained currently hold the status of individuals under examination.   2. Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq: In early March 2026, the KPK conducted a sting operation against Pekalongan Regent Fadia Arafiq. The case under investigation related to project bribery within the Pekalongan Regency Government. Fadia was subsequently named a suspect.

  3. Cilacap Regent Syamsul Auliya Rahman: In the same month, specifically mid-March 2026, the KPK carried out another sting operation in Cilacap Regency. The operation ensnared Cilacap Regent Syamsul Auliya Rachman. The case involved alleged extortion of regional apparatus organisations (OPD) within the Cilacap Regency Government.

  4. Sukoharjo Regent Etik Suryani: Earlier this month, the KPK conducted a sting operation in the Solo Raya area. One of those caught was Regent Etik Suryani, who was arrested on Thursday evening, 9 July. The case ensnaring Etik related to the extortion of her subordinates.
