JAKARTA – PT Pelayaran Nasional Indonesia (PELNI) served 153,433 passengers during the period from 23 to 29 March 2026, or H+7 Lebaran. The peak daily movement occurred on 28 March 2026, with the number of passengers reaching 25,635 people. PELNI’s President Director Tri Andayani stated that return flow ticket sales continue to increase. As of 29 March 2026, tickets for the period from 23 March to 6 April 2026 have sold 268,746. “For the entire Lebaran transport period, namely from 6 March to 6 April 2026, tickets sold number 585,744 passengers or 91.4 percent of the 2026 Lebaran transport passenger projection of 641,025 passengers,” said Tri Andayani in an official statement on Monday (30/3/2026). “PELNI is ready to serve the passenger surge until the end of the period on 6 April 2026. If there are passengers needing assistance during the voyage, our ship crew are ready to serve wholeheartedly,” she said. Tri emphasised that the increase in passenger numbers does not change the service focus. Safety and comfort remain the priority. “For those returning home who have not yet obtained tickets, please book immediately through PELNI’s official channels to avoid the risk of quota exhaustion and unofficial tickets,” she explained. “We also remind passengers to always comply with safety protocols on board and maintain cleanliness during the journey,” she stressed.
