Pelni Lebaran Transport Ticket Sales Reach 56.5 Percent
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Total ticket sales for PT Pelni ships during the 2026 Lebaran transport period from 6 March to 6 April 2026 have reached 56.5 percent of the total available tickets. “Total ticket sales for ships in this period amount to 424,836 passengers (pax) or 56.5 percent of the total available tickets of 751,550 pax,” said PT Pelni President Director Tri Andayani in Jakarta on Wednesday. She predicts that ticket sales will continue to increase in line with this year’s Lebaran mudik and return flows. Tri Andayani stated that to face the mudik flow, her company continues to enhance service quality for customers. “Including through digital transformation oriented towards ease of access and passenger comfort,” she said. She noted that Wednesday marks the peak of the mudik flow, with evident enthusiasm from passengers utilising the government’s 30 percent discount programme. “This discount has increased the number of passengers in this Lebaran transport because the programme applies to all travel routes,” she said.
