Pelni: 277,549 Return Trip Tickets for Eid Sold

PT Pelni has recorded sales of 277,549 tickets during the return flow period for Eid 2026. This figure represents the accumulated tickets sold from 23 March to 6 April 2026.

“We recorded total ticket sales for the entire Eid transportation period from 6 March to 6 April 2026 reaching 594,547 tickets, consisting of 541,144 passenger ship passengers and 53,403 feeder ship passengers,” said Pelni’s President Director Tri Andayani in a written statement on Monday, 30 March 2026.

She added that the peak of the return flow occurred today with the number of passengers reaching 27,292 people. According to her, this surge reflects the high trust of the public in Pelni’s services during the Eid period.

“During the ongoing Eid transportation period, our ships’ average on-time performance reached 97 percent. We continue to ensure that all our fleet and crew are ready to serve wholeheartedly, and remain focused on always implementing safety first, zero accidents, and excellent service,” she stated.

Amid this passenger surge, Andayani said the company is committed to maritime safety by continuing to coordinate with port authorities, particularly in ensuring that passenger capacity on ships remains in accordance with regulations.

“The company strives to maintain the quality of national sea transportation services so that Eid mudik and return flow journeys can proceed safely, comfortably, and smoothly,” she said.
