Pelita Air Offers Up to 45% Discount on Flights for Independence Day

In commemoration of the 81st Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, Pelita Air is presenting a special ‘Merdeka Surprice’ promotion with discounts of up to 45 percent for all domestic and international flight routes.

The promotion applies to the purchase of return tickets through the Pelita Air website and application on 16–18 August 2026. The travel period applies from 17 August and from 1 September to 24 October 2026.

Through this promotion, Pelita Air is inviting the public to celebrate the spirit of independence by exploring more destinations at home and abroad. The programme is also expected to provide added value for customers while encouraging public mobility during the Independence Day period.

Pelita Air President Director Faik Fahmi said the independence momentum is an opportunity to strengthen inter-regional connectivity and open more opportunities for people to travel.

“Through this promotion, we want to provide increasingly affordable air travel access so that more people can enjoy a safe and comfortable flying experience,” he said in an official statement.

According to Faik, improved air connectivity can have a positive impact on tourism growth, business activity and the economy in various regions.

He added that Pelita Air will continue to present various programmes that benefit customers, in line with the company’s commitment to providing flight services that prioritise safety, service quality and travel experience.

“Not only connecting city to city, but also connecting various opportunities, from tourism and investment to creative economic activities,” said Faik.

In addition to offering special prices, Pelita Air also provides a number of facilities to support passenger comfort. All flights are equipped with complimentary Meals on Board, checked baggage of up to 20 kilograms, 7 kilograms of cabin baggage, and inflight entertainment facilities that can be accessed during the flight.
