JAKARTA — Pelita Air has created business opportunities for entrepreneurs to target both domestic and international tourist markets through partnerships.

One collaboration involves Café del Mar Bali through the PASplus programme, where passengers can present their boarding pass at the merchant to receive additional benefits.

Rio Fransisco, Head of Marketing at Café del Mar Bali, confirmed that customer responses to the collaboration have been highly positive, with many travellers feeling the programme adds extra value to their trips.

“It’s not just about discounts at Café del Mar Bali; customers also feel they gain a special additional experience after their journey,” Rio stated on Monday, 25 May 2026.

The PASplus programme allows Pelita Air customers to enjoy exclusive benefits at Café del Mar Bali and other partner outlets.

Passengers merely need to show their boarding pass to receive discounts of up to 15 per cent or free daybeds worth between Rp500,000 and Rp3,000,000.

According to Rio, the simplicity of the process is a key reason for the programme’s popularity, as customers simply present their boarding pass to immediately access exclusive privileges without complex procedures.

“The collaboration has also successfully attracted new visitors while expanding Café del Mar Bali’s target market reach,” he added.

Eksposed Cafe Makassar, located at Sultan Hasanuddin Airport, has also experienced positive effects. Riska Namirah, owner and CEO of PT Arumahira Kuliner Indonesia, said customers have responded very well to the PASplus programme.

“Passengers can immediately enjoy benefits even after check-in and before boarding through discounts offered simply by showing their boarding pass at our outlets,” Riska said.

She added that the programme has also created repeat customers, with many who have previously enjoyed PASplus benefits returning to Eksposed Cafe whenever they travel with Pelita Air.
