Jakarta – PT Pelabuhan Indonesia/Pelindo (Persero) Regional 2 Banten is strengthening services at Ciwandan Port in Cilegon, Banten, through a fast, adaptive, and integrated operational system to boost logistics efficiency and support smooth industrial activities at the national level.

Benny Ariadi, General Manager of PT Pelabuhan Indonesia Regional 2 Banten, said in Jakarta on Tuesday that the company is committed to delivering fast services that meet customer needs.

‘Pelindo Regional 2 Banten continues to strive to provide wholehearted, fast, adaptive services that meet customer needs. Through measurable service standards supported by an integrated system and flexible operational coordination, we want to ensure that every activity at Ciwandan Port runs smoothly, efficiently, and delivers optimal results,’ Benny said.

As one of the strategic ports in Banten Province, Ciwandan Port plays an important role in supporting national logistics distribution, especially for dry bulk, liquid bulk, and industrial raw materials.

Strengthening services is achieved through the implementation of service standards measured according to Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Service Level Guarantees (SLG).

Through the system, every service process—from berthing of ships, loading and unloading, to administrative services—has clear time targets and service standards.

In addition, the support facilities and integrated service coordination help make the service process more efficient, safe, and timely for all users.

Applying these service standards also makes field operations teams more directed and responsive, enabling faster service in line with industry needs.

The company also continues to strengthen adaptive service through operational capability to flexibly adjust technical needs on the ground.

Adjustments cover operational patterns, equipment readiness, workforce arrangements, and intensive coordination with service users to ensure loading/unloading and logistics distribution continue smoothly.

According to Benny, strengthening services is part of efforts to keep supply chains moving while reinforcing the port’s role as a reliable and competitive national logistics hub.

‘In the future, we will continue to evaluate and develop to improve service quality and strengthen synergy with all parties so that Ciwandan Port can contribute even more to the smooth distribution of logistics and regional and national economic growth,’ Benny said.
