Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang Provides Aid to 31 Orphans Through TJSL Programme

Bandarlampung (ANTARA) - Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang has distributed aid to 31 orphans from the Madani Welfare Foundation (Yakesma) through its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programme, demonstrating the company’s commitment to the community around Panjang Port, Lampung. The social and religious activity began with a communal prayer attended by management, the Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang Islamic Da’wah Development Centre (PPDI), and Yakesma representatives. In addition to being part of the TJSL programme, the event served as a collective effort to seek safety, security, smooth operations, protection, and blessings for all port activities. General Manager of Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang, Hardianto, stated that the aid distribution reflects the company’s dedication to fulfilling its social responsibilities through programmes that provide real benefits. “This aid distribution is a form of Pelindo’s concern through the company’s Social and Environmental Responsibility programme. We hope this assistance can continue to bring sustainable benefits through various social programmes that positively impact the surrounding community,” Hardianto said in Bandarlampung on Thursday. He explained that Pelindo continues to strive to deliver TJSL programmes that not only support operational activities but also contribute to improving the welfare of communities around the port area. Meanwhile, Chairman of PPDI Pelindo Regional 2 Panjang, Arif Soleh, said the social activity was also an expression of gratitude for the smooth running of all activities at Panjang Port. “We hope that all of Pelindo’s activities are always granted smoothness and become a blessing, as well as improve the social welfare of the community around Panjang Port,” he remarked. Pelindo Regional 2 stated that the social and religious activity, involving communal prayer and aid distribution to orphans, was carried out simultaneously across all branches within the Regional 2 area as part of the implementation of the company’s TJSL programme to strengthen its social contribution to the community.
